if you ever need an explosion of colour to brighten up a rainy day, you just need to get Tai on the scene. like the sun itself, she's the kind of noisy, optimistic extrovert that the planet, plant life, and most other minkin can only tolerate in select amounts--but once you have her as a friend, you want her around for life. warm, affectionate, generous, and outgoing; and, fittingly enough, obsessed with the sun. she delights in warm weather and often spends her days basking in the light, admiring the flowers that seem to flourish in the presence of her clique and the herd. she is young, and still a child in many ways, brimming over with both goodwill and naivete.

she is occasionally aware of her immaturity and wishes she were more poised and graceful, and able to make magnificent flowers as big as the sun itself bloom around her; sadly, the flowers she makes are tiny and simple. above all else, her dream is to one day be blessed with wings and be able to fly up, close to where the sun is. she has a vague knowledge that only the gods can bestow such gifts, so she has made a vow to be as pious an acolyte as possible so as to gain their favour--as soon as she is done chasing that butterfly to its hiding place.

design notes
she is Very Small and her ears are very huge in proportion, with unnecessarily explosive fluff. she often holds her tail up as high as it will go to be closer to the sky. she has the standard three horns, and they're all teeny lil nubs.
her overo markings and fairy dust don't need to be exact! her design is asymmetrical, but you can kind of just flub it as long as you keep the white legs in mind

relationships
Guinevere - gwen takes on a maternal role to tai; both friendly but with the potential to be somewhat obnoxious, their shared trait of patience means they can, and do, endlessly humour each other. tai admires gwen's composure, singing voice, and height; gwen just finds tai adorable.

Jamboree - tiny besties! tai is the slightly more assertive out of the two, but they get on very well and in general adore each other. combined, they are a force of cuteness to be reckoned with.

Cain - tai is in absolute awe of Cain's ability to "call" the rain, and has aggressively befriended him, to his occasional chagrin. she is constantly trying to convince him to use his magic weather powers for "good" and make it sunny all the time.

Loire - loire has WINGS, and that means Tai is her most devoted follower. tai idolises loire somewhat, admiring her grace as well as her magnificent wings--a reflection of what tai wants more than anything else in the world. tai is constantly asking loire for advice on getting bestowed with wings. loire, for her part, enjoys the wide-eyed attention.
